ORIGINS AND ETYMOLOGY
Astro-English: from Astronese, the term transcensia is formed by the use of the prefix trans- denoting something “beyond” or “across” adjoined to the word ascension denoting “the act of rising upwards, either physically or figuratively”, yet is distinguished by transcension through the use of the suffix -ia to note the condition associated with transcension rather than the process of transcension itself.
